These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyMacher ("we," "our," or "us") at mymacher.com. By using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
MyMacher is operated from New York, USA. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
1 Using MyMacher
MyMacher is a free-to-use directory that connects women with sheitel machers and makeup artists. You may browse, search, and use the AI Matchmaker without creating an account.
By using MyMacher you agree to:
- Use the site only for its intended purpose — finding or listing beauty professionals
- Provide accurate, honest information in any form, review, or listing application
- Not use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Not attempt to scrape, copy, or reproduce the directory data in bulk
- Not interfere with the site's operation or security
- Treat all listed professionals and community members with respect
We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone who violates these Terms.
2 Business Listings
Professionals may apply to have their business listed on MyMacher. By submitting a listing application, you represent that:
- All information provided is accurate and up to date
- You are the owner or authorized representative of the business
- You have the right to share the contact information provided
- Your business complies with all applicable local laws and regulations
All listing applications are reviewed and approved by our team. We reserve the right to decline, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that contain inaccurate information, violate our community standards, or are otherwise not a fit for the MyMacher directory.
Listed businesses are responsible for keeping their information current. To update or remove a listing, contact support@mymacher.com.
Listing fees: Listings are currently free during our launch phase. We reserve the right to introduce paid listing tiers in the future. Existing listed businesses will be given reasonable notice before any fees are introduced.
3 Reviews
MyMacher allows users to submit reviews of listed businesses. By submitting a review, you agree that:
- Your review is based on a genuine personal experience with the listed business
- Your review is honest, fair, and not defamatory
- You will not submit fake, paid, or incentivized reviews
- You will not submit reviews on behalf of a competitor
- Your review does not contain personal contact information, offensive language, or discriminatory content
All reviews are moderated by our team before going live. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any review that violates these Terms or our community standards. Submitting a false review may result in permanent removal from the platform.
If you are a listed business and believe a review is false or defamatory, contact us at support@mymacher.com and we will investigate promptly.
4 AI Matchmaker
The MyMacher AI Matchmaker is a feature that uses artificial intelligence to suggest compatible listings based on your questionnaire answers. By using the Matchmaker, you understand that:
- Recommendations are generated by an AI model and are suggestions only — not guarantees
- We do not guarantee that any recommended macher will be available, suitable, or a perfect match
- Your questionnaire answers are processed as described in our Privacy Policy
- The AI may make errors — always review a full profile before making contact
The AI Matchmaker is provided as a helpful tool. Final decisions about which professional to contact remain entirely yours.
5 Payments
MyMacher currently offers free listings. If and when paid listing tiers are introduced, the following will apply:
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Listing fees are charged per the selected plan (monthly or annual)
- Refunds may be requested within 7 days of payment by contacting support
- We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers
MyMacher does not charge clients (women searching for machers) any fees. The directory is free to search and use.
Important: Any payments for services between a client and a listed business are entirely separate from MyMacher. We are not a party to those transactions and accept no responsibility for them.
6 Community Standards
MyMacher is a community-focused platform built on trust and mutual respect. We expect all users — clients and professionals alike — to uphold these standards:
- Be honest in all submissions, reviews, and communications
- Be respectful of all community members regardless of background or affiliation
- Do not submit spam, advertisements, or promotional content in reviews
- Do not attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews
- Do not use MyMacher to harass, threaten, or harm any person or business
Violations of our community standards may result in removal of content, suspension of access, or permanent banning from the platform.
7 Your Content
When you submit content to MyMacher — including listing information, reviews, or questionnaire responses — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content on the MyMacher platform.
You retain ownership of your content. We will not sell your content to third parties. You may request removal of your content at any time by contacting support@mymacher.com.
8 Disclaimer
MyMacher is a directory and connection platform. We do not provide beauty services ourselves. We do not vet, certify, license, or guarantee the quality of any listed professional.
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be available, error-free, or that listings will be accurate at all times. We make reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy but cannot guarantee it.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyMacher and its owners, operators, and team members shall not be liable for:
- Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the site
- Any issues arising from a transaction or service between a client and a listed professional
- Any inaccuracies in listing information
- Any AI Matchmaker recommendations that do not result in a satisfactory match
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information stored therein
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of MyMacher shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
10 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to MyMacher for any user or listed business that violates these Terms, without prior notice.
If you are a listed business and wish to terminate your listing, email support@mymacher.com and we will remove your listing within 24 hours.
If you believe your access has been terminated in error, contact us and we will review the situation fairly.
11 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify affected users.
Continued use of MyMacher after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with updated Terms, please stop using the site.
